Website Launch

WE HAVE LAUNCHED! The Community Sound [e]Scapes project launched its 2009-2010 work on September 9, 2010. Thanks to everyone who took part at all stages of the project and the wonderful launch event. The event included the launch of an audiovisual art installation by Nicholas Loess which was based on the photographs from each participating community group, as well as live links via video conferencing to the Ballybeen (Northern Ireland) and Woolgoolga (Australia) groups who talked about their communities and how they got involved in the project. Professor Ellen Waterman from Memorial University, Newfoundland, launched the project website for us and members from the Guelph group performed live with the eScaper mixer.
