A brilliant workshop with Steve Mason, Operations Director from CFRU Radio and long term Community Sound [e]Scapes support. Steve gave an excellent workshop on audio recording and microphone use. In a group which includes experienced technical users and beginners, Steve helped us all to better understand how to use different types of recorders, how to control levels and how to understand sound patterns and utilise the correct microphone for the job. We hope to put a full video of this workshop online soon, as it was an excellent training opportunity we would like to refer back to, so watch the Forum.
