SOUNDSCAPES RECORDED IN THE BALLYBEEN AREA IN 2010 Listen to the soundscapes made by the young people in the Ballybeen area. This sound project was a joint venture between Brooklands Youth Centre (South Eastern Education and Library Board) and the Best Cellars media collective.

In March 2010 the doors of Brooklands Youth Centre opened to a chorus of, “At last!”

This radio segment is part of the fantastic Peace Radio program by local media collective and Community Sound [e]Scapes partner, Best Cellars. Peace Radio is a project supported by the EU Peace III fund involving victims and survivors of Northern Irelands recent history and recording their stories for future generations. The project commenced in 2009.
